There are many
ways that you can take advantage of Microsoft Office Home Student 2010. The
best thing you can do is delve deeper in its special features – those that
earlier versions do not have. One of the most prominent features of it is the
Backstage View. Think of this as the 2010 File menu. The File tab is blue, it
was not around in 2007 and now it is back! This time around, in its new
incarnation with an area that contains the most basic commands from Saving,
Printing and Opening files.
If you already
have an open file and you click on the File tab – what you will see is an Info
screen. This is where some basic information, which include properties – are
located – and this is where you have options for changing accessibility – that
is permissions. And you may also prepare your doc for sharing and editing. The
file command is located at the pane on the left of the screen.
Office Home
Student 2010 pretty much has the same features as version 2007. Microsoft 2010
is an XML-based productivity suite. This
means files are lighter, more compatible and makes for better recovery. Saving
macros is easier which will interfere with harmful codes. So just as in its
previous version, a Word file would be saved as .docx and a PowerPoint 2010
would be .pptx and so on. You may also save files on PDF.
Do you need to
open new files? All you have to do is click Recent if it is a file that you
have used early on. Then, click on the necessary file for you to open it. To
remain on the same list, you can click
on the pin that is located at the right hand corner of the file name. You can
also press Ctrl + O on the File tab if you need the Open dialogue box to be
displayed. From there, locate the required file and double click on the file
name. You can click the file ones and select Open too.
Remember to save
your documents as 1997-2003 if you are not certain that the people or places
you will be distributing your files to do not have at least Office 2007. Office
2010 is very easy to use and you might find it a highly polished version of its
predecessor and a nice prelude to its succeeding editions. If you feel that it
will help you increase your productivity, go ahead and order Microsoft OfficeHome Student 2010 today.
