Little Known Platforms in Office 2010

Have your friends recommended an Office 2010 download? Office 2010 is truly a great platform even after all these years.  There have been improvements from its predecessors making this a very effective tool for businesses. 2010 looks better and you may even find it more user-friendly. Here let’s take a look at two major apps you will find in your Office 2010 suite.

First, there’s Outlook 2010. What’s new? There is the Backstage View – this may probably be the most prominent feature of Office 2010.  For Outlook this is where you can locate most of the tasks for account managements for importing and exporting as well as saving files. You may also customize the ribbon using the Quick Access Toolbar.

Second is Quick Steps. What is this tool? It allows you to manage and respond to information fast. All you have to do is define the tasks that you will need so that you can decrease the number of clicks you need to make and easily forward different emails. Mail Tips helps you when you are about to send a list of big distribution. You can also avoid spamming and bounced notices with this process.

Outlook 2010 is just awesome. The improved Picture Editing tools allow you to edit, crop and put image effects of your photos right then and there on your email itself.  The Schedule view allows you to stay up to date because this is a shared calendar. You can schedule meetings through this tool alone.  The Contact Card helps you when you are communicating with colleagues or just your close acquaintances. You don’t have to switch to another app when using Office Communicator or any other IM system. The Social Connector helps you integrate Outlook with your social networks.

What about OneNote 2010? Do you want to stay more organized? OneNote basically allows you to share notes on a single place. OneNote is a complete package for organizing and composition.
OneNote contains linked notes so that you can take notes while using the other apps in your Office2010 download. Use OneNote while working on Word and PowerPoint 2010 because of this wonderful interfacing capacity.  The OneNote Web app allows you to take the platform to the Net if you need more mobility in compiling your files.

Are you thinking about getting Office 2010 today? Why not go for it! It remains one of the most versatile tools that Microsoft has ever created and you are sure to enjoy it for school, work or for private projects.
